Let’s start with the main question on your mind – why ‘No Pork Pies?’
Pork Pies is cockney slang for ‘Lies’ so our agency is built on the principle of No Lies. A pretty ambitious statement but Social Media is all about being open, honest and helpful and it’s difficult to do that if your message is built on a lie, so we decided from the beginning that our message should always be truthful. It’s something we like to think we’ve stuck to!
No Pork Pies was set up by our MD Adam Lee in November 2009 so we’re still a pretty new agency, but in the world of digital and Social Media what isn’t new! Groupon is only 3-years-old, Twitter is only 5-years-old, YouTube is 6-years-old, Facebook 7 and Google is an OAP at 13!
So we are still in our infancy, a regular Doogie Howser in the ever-changing world of Social Media!
Just because we are young doesn’t make us inexperienced, between us we have around 20 years digital agency experience and that’s a lot in a new media industry.
